No fewer than 30 taekwondo coaches are currently participating in a coaching certification seminar organsied in Abuja by Nigeria Taekwondo Federation (NTKF).
The course was arranged to opt the coaches up to scratch, ahead of the Korean Ambassador’s Taekwondo Championship, billed for package B of Abuja National Stadium.
NTKF technical director, Chima Yagazie Chukwumerije expressed happiness over the turnout of participants and enthused that it portrays the continuation of greater growth for the sport in Nigeria.
The Beijing 2008 Olympics bronze medalist and three time Olympian added in a chat with sports247.ng: “I am happy with the turnout of our coaches for this source. This shows the growing interest of the sport in the country.”
