Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso have been drawn in Group B alongside MFM of Lagos, Lobi Stars FC, and Godosky FC in the Second Edition of Dapo Abiodun Preseason Football Competition scheduled to commence on Tuesday 17th November 2020 at the Otunba Dapo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu Ode.
The twelve (12) participating teams of five (5) Nigeria Premier League (NPL) teams and seven (7) Nigeria National League (NNL) teams were grouped into three (3) in the draws that came up at the Dapo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu Ode on Monday 16th November 2020.
According to the draws, Rivers United FC, Warri Wolves FC, Bendel Insurance FC, and Gateway United FC are in Group A, while MFM FC, Crown FC, Lobi Stars FC, and Godosky FC are in Group B. The third Group C comprises Kwara United FC, 3sc, Remo Stars FC, and Nilayo FC.
The first two teams in each group will advance to the quarter-final stages of the competition while there shall be seven (7) substitutions at four opportunities par match.
Kwara United FC and Remo Stars FC will play the opening game of the tourney on Tuesday 17th November 2020 by 4 pm inside the main bowl of Otunba Dapo Dina International Stadium with strict compliance with Covid-19 protocols as stipulated by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) of no spectators into the stadium, compulsory use of nose masks, social distancing among others.
Crown FC will play her first game of the competition on Wednesday 18th November 2020 against Godosky FC by 9 am at the Training Pitch 1 of the Otunba Dapo Dina stadium.
