2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers: Coach Eric Talks Tough, Says Super Eagles Will Leave Rwanda Empty-Handed

Rwanda assistant coach Eric Nshimiyimana has dismissed the chances of the Super Eagles picking any point away from Kigali as Rwanda ready to host Nigeria in a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Amahoro Stadium on Thursday, Sports247 reports.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference, the Rwandan tactician emphasized that his squad is in a comfortable position, having already accumulated seven points in the qualification race.

In contrast, Nigeria, has been struggling to stay in contention, after amazing only three points in four games, is in desperate need of a win.to revive their hope of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

“We’re not under any pressure because we already have our seven points,” Nshimiyimana declared. “Nigeria are the ones under pressure because they need these points too, but they will not get them,” confident Coach Eric said.
