Warriors’ safety, John Itsukwi has come out with a daring declaration that his team are still the best side in the Showtime Flag Football League (SFFL), in spite of their huge loss to LA Knights on Sunday.

Itsukwi was defiant and boastful, despite failing to save his side from losing with a six-point margin, as he told Sports247 after the encounter that it was a learning point that will help them do better in their remaining nine games.
Itsukwi stated at length, “This is our first game in the season and a good way of keeping us together. This is just a wake-up call for us. It’s not a loss, just a wake-up statement … since it’s the first game of the season.”
He then forwarded some excuses about what went wrong for the ream that got all the way to the final last year and admitted that the Warriors played Sunday’s opening match with an air of overconfidence.
“Apparently, it was like we felt too comfortable, to be honest. Another thing we didn’t do right is that we did not play our normal game.
We didn’t play our game. That’s the honest truth. It was our bad day, and we lost by six points. On our good day, no team in this league can beat us. That’s our message going out there to every other team listening to me,” Itsukwi boasted.
