The towering striker played a crucial role in his team’s victory, scoring the decisive penalty in the final against 36 Lion FC, which secured SGFC Athletics the championship title.
His outstanding displays throughout the tournament attracted the attention of European scouts who were present to assess emerging talent.
In an exclusive interview with our correspondent, Okwuosa credited his success to dedicated preparation and relentless effort.
“Personally, I work very hard. Even when my teammates are resting, I put in extra work. Hard work, determination, and teamwork played a huge role in my success. ”
“I believe in myself, and I believe in the ability of my team. With all these factors, and by the grace of God, I am here today,” he shared when asked about the key to his performance.
Looking ahead, Okwuosa expressed his aspirations for the future.
“I’m aiming to play at the highest level, by the grace of God,” he said. “For now, I’ll wait and see what opportunities arise. I trust that good things are coming my way.”
