Ghana are not relenting in their effort to eliminate the Super Eagles from the 2025 CHAN competition as Black Galaxies secured victories in the two friendly matches played on Wednesday, Sports247 reports.

The Ghana Home based nation team, the Black Galaxies stepped up their preparations ahead 2024 African Nations Championship eliminator against the home based Super Eagles with victories in two friendly matches against local side on Wednesday.
The team defeated Great Olympics and Attram De Visser at the University of Ghana Stadium, 5-2 and 2-1 respectively which afford the coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani’ opportunity to assess the readiness of the team against Nigeria.
Hearts of Lions’ striker Mustapha Yakubu scored a brace while .Issah Yakubu, Rahman Mohammed of Nsoatreman FC, and Asante Kotoko’s Saaka Dauda, all found the back of the net.
In the second match, it was Jerry Afriyie, the WAFU B U20 star was the star man after scoring a superb overhead kick, while Hafiz Ibrahim scored the other goal to secure a 2-1 victory over Attram De Visser.
Nigeria and Ghana will face off in a two legged CHAN eliminator and the winner over the two legs will book a place in the competition to be hosted in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.

The first leg of the West Africa derby will take place in Ghana on December 22 while the return leg will be hosted on December 28 in Nigeria as the football rivalries between both countries continues .
