Tolu Arokodare is taking the Belgian Football League by storm by helping his club, KRC Genk FC to the top Jupiler league table after six weeks, six points clear ahead of their nearest rival, with Arokodare scoring six goals in nine appearances to underline his scoring prowess.

In an exclusive interview with Tribalfootball.com, the 23 year old explained why he is not in a hurry but he would rather patiently wait for his Super Eagles time as long as he keeps his game high up there .

With the absence of Victor Osimhen, and alternatives like Kelechi Iheanacho and Taiwo Awoniyi are not getting the required game time , expectations were rife that the likes Tolu Arokodare and Cyril Dessers should get a look in as the Super Eagles set to attack the Knight of Libya for Morocco 2025 ticket.

But coach Augustine Eguavoen opted to ignore inexperienced but inform players for the experienced and regulars as Kelechi Iheanacho and Taiwo Awoniyi retained their place in the squad for the 2025 AFCONQ qualifier.

Tolu Arokodare who once played for Box 2 Box in Lagos, whose future dream is to play in the English Premier League says Nigeria has great quality in the attack but believes he just needs to keep performing well, his Super Eagles’ invitation will come at the appropriate time.

Arokodare told Tribal Football, ” We have a huge talent in our attack obviously and the whole squad is full of talent”.

” I haven’t been contacted by the NFF, but with time, if I keep performing right and doing the right things, I think I will get that call soon, and me not being called up I think it’s not my time and I think the players that are being called up before me, they worked to be in that position, they deserved every invitation to the Super Eagles. I just need to have patience and work harder” Arokodare Explained.

The Super Eagles are currently topping the group D of the 2025 AFCONQ with a win and a draw in their opening two goals.

They have another chance to amass more points against Libya in the double header encounters slated for Friday October 5 2024 in Uyo and Tuesday 11 October in Benghazi Libya
