Action resumed on Saturday 2 November 2024 after 14 days break at the ongoing Island All Stars Sports Club Providus Bank Achievers Cup as Team Prossy and T- Gold recorded victories against Team CandL and Kendoriz respectively on Matchday 2 at the Lagos Business School Lekki Ajah, Sports247 reports.
In the first match of the day Team Prossy made it six points out of points as they drubbed Team Candl 3-0 as goals from Pastor Dozie and Ike Ibe got a brace to gave Team Prossy the maximum points to condemn Team Candl to their first loss of the competition after playing goalless in their first game against T-Gold.
In the second game, Team Kendoriz tasted their firsr defeat as T-Gold ran away with a 2-0 win on Saturday.
The highly entertaining match saw an end to end attacking brand football the players of both sides gave a good account of themselves as team T-Gold took their chances clinically and which made the difference between the two sides
The competition which is proudly sponsored by Providus Bank will continue next Saturday with Matchday 3 at the Lagos Business School main football pitch as the round robin league format football competition continues.
