Ghana Black Galaxies Head Coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani is confident his side will be ready to beat the CHAN 2024 ticket, Sports247 reports.
Both countries will clash on Sunday in Accra in the first leg of the 2024 African Nations Championships (CHAN) qualifiers.
Both teams have been training and preparing for the epic clash as the Ghanaians have switched their training base to the Accra Sports Stadium, the venue of the match on Sunday.
While the Super Eagles B are wrapping up preparation at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne as the team is set to leave for Accra, Ghana at any moment.
Ahead of the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday December 22, Coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani is sure of his team’s chances as both countries drag for advantage in the first leg.
” The chances are very bright and that is what we are doing,” he began
“We are playing against one of the best countries in terms of football in Africa and Ghana is equally a very quality side when it comes to African football”.
“We are working on trying to put together a team, building the process and being able to have the cohesion and the fluidity of the way we want to play.”
” When we bring in the effort and the energy and our adaptation in terms of our tactical element we should be able to sail through.” Dramami affirmed.
The Black Galaxies beat Togo 2-0 in an international friendly last week as part of preparations for the must-win game against the Nigerians while the Super Eagles B, only make do with friendlies with local clubs and most recently, they defeated Remo Stars by 2-1 last Wednesday.
The winner of the match over the two legs will qualify for the 2024 CHAN tournament is set to be staged in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania in 2025.
Ghana denied Nigeria CHAN qualification two years ago via penalties after it ended all squared after the two legs.
