Following the successful completion of 2022 IASC Unity Cup where JohnMax Properties defied the odds to win the inaugural edition of the league, the ISLAND ALLSTARS SUPER CUP challenge aftermath proved a hard-nut for them to crack as they fell to a 2-1 defeat to the Island All Stars team who claimed the Super Cup in a nervy contest.

It was a celebration full of merriments as the trophy was presented to the winning team with President Maduagwu who obviously couldn’t hide his excitement praising the unity in the club while also taking time to appreciate Chief Barrister Chijioke Isiolu who is the CEO of SPOG Petrochemicals and also dubbed as the grand patron for his massive support towards the success of the game.
“I feel very elated, so happy, you followed us all through this journey starting from the election, we promised that the only thing we would work on is to unite the club and you will agree with me that in the history of All Stars football, this is the first time we are witnessing a Super challenge Cup where the winner of the league will now come to challenge in the Super Cup,” he allayed in an exclusive interview with Sports247.ng.
“So, you would agree with me that we had a very competitive game, this JohnMax team are really champions because it’s not easy and they defied the odd to achieve it.”
“I want to use this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the match ambassadors in particular our grand patron who gave us this cup and together we will continue to do great things in Island All Stars Club,” he assured.
