Nike, Nigeria’s National teams kit sponsor, has unveiled the new Super Falcons jersey for the 2023 FIFA women’s World Cup.
Nigeria is grouped alongside Australia, the Republic of Ireland, and Canada in group B, and will be appearing in the FIFA Women’s World Cup for the ninth time.
Falcons will be wearing a new set of jerseys different from that of the men’s team with the design unveiled by Nike. The Women’s World Cup 2023 will take place in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to August 20, and this will be the first time 32 teams will be featured in eight groups.
As part of their preparation for the World Cup, the Super Falcons are opening camp ahead of next month’s pair of international friendlies in Turkey.
The nine-time African champions have a date against the World Cup-bound Haiti women’s national team at the Emir Sports Complex in Antalya, Turkey, on April 7.
They will thereafter take on World Cup co-hosts New Zealand at the Mardan Sports Complex, also in Antalya, on April 11.
