The highly anticipated 2023/24 Creative Championship Cup is set to commence on Tuesday, October 31st, promising an array of thrilling football action.
This competition, run alongside the TCC league since its inception in 2020, has consistently delivered captivating football, and each year has witnessed different victors.
Gbagada FC clinched the trophy in 2021, with Dino SC securing victory in 2022. The defending champions are Valiant.
In this year’s edition, the 12 teams of the Creative Championship League have been sorted into two groups, each consisting of six teams. The reigning champions, Valiant, embark on their title defense in Group B, challenging Iganmu.
Both squads aim to rise above their recent league struggles, having not yet secured a victory and instead set their sights on cup glory.
Newcomers, Escola United and Real Sapphire find themselves in the same group. Real Sapphire, undefeated in the league, squares off against Atlantic Business, while Escola United faces the formidable reigning champions, Beyond Limits.

Last year’s runners-up, Gbagada, are drawn into Group A and commence their TCC Cup journey against Broad City, rekindling a recent league encounter won by Broad City on MatchDay 2.
High-flying Dino is also in midweek action, taking on Imperial, fresh from securing their fourth consecutive league win against Coach Adedeji’s men. Another fixture features Dannaz, hosting Sporting Lagos.
The tournament format from the previous season has been retained for this edition but with a slight twist, guaranteeing even more exciting matches as the competition unfolds.
Teams will play selected games at home and others away, with four teams from each group advancing to the final eight, where the competition promises to intensify.
