Team Nigeria have arrived in Mauritius for the 2022 Africa Senior Athletics Championship.
The team which is made up of local based and international athletes would be looking to battle for top spot this time after finishing third behind South Africa and Kenya in Asaba 2018.
The local based players and officials of the Athletic Federation flew from the Muritala Muhammed airport, Lagos yesterday while the foreign based will be join them in Mauritius later today.
The 2022 Africa Senior Athletics Championship will hold between 8th June and 12th June 2022.
The 2020 edition slated for Algeria was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
