First Oil Rush captain, Haliru Momodu has revealed that his team has all it takes to win the 2022 IASC Unity Cup following thier 1-1 draw against D-Sha in the second game of the tournament to pick up thier first point.
The thrilling encounter lived up to the hype as the two teams battled on and on in a fierce football contest for a victory but both teams eventually shared the spoils with a point each going into the second game, Sports247.ng writes.
The captain commenting on the game admitted it was indeed a tough clash, “very interesting game, my team played a very good game but unfortunately we conceded an equalizer but it was an all round game from my teammates, excellent performance.”
On thier chances of winning the trophy, the captain said, “It’s an inhouse game, everyone has to put in a good fight to have a chance, First Oil Rush has all it takes to go on and win this trophy, it belongs to us,” he concluded.
