Luqui Moly has hit the top spot of Group A2 of the ongoing 2022/23 NLO Division 2 season all thanks to Lucky Azubike’s second half strike to dash T.K. Bariga survival hopes.

Following the 1-0 victory against Right Vision Choice FA on matchday four, Luqui Moly needed a win to claim the top spot going into the encounter against Deluxe FC and they did get the deserved win with a 2-1 victory at the Surulere Legacy Pitch today.
Speaking after the game in an exclusive interview with Sport247.ng Lucky whose goal proved crucial was overwhelmed that his side were able to overcome a difficult opponent in T.K. Bariga FC.
“This is my first goal of the season and I can’t be so much happy that it was a wining strike against a very good opponent.”
“We came into the game with the determination to win because we knew how crucial this game was and when they scored to level in the second half, we knew we had to double our effort to pick all the points and we did just that.”
The winger further called on his teammates not to allow sloppiness and tiredness despite the win.
“Now isn’t the time to be relaxed and sloppy, we need to approach the next game with so much will so that we can achieve our goal which is to make progress out of the group on a high,” he concluded.
