Bendel Insurance held on to thier perfect record following the 1-1 draw against Enyimba at the Mobolaji Johnson, Onikan Lagos Arena on matchday three of the Nigeria Professional Premier League Championship Play-offs.
Enyimba came into the game as log leaders and they knew that a win for them would guarantee them an automatic spot in CAF continental games but bluffed the chance against a resilient Bendel Insurance.
Enyimba had taken the lead in the first half to open the scoring but thier celebrations didn’t last long after Divine Nwachukwu scored the leveler to restore parity going into the second half.
The second half wasn’t without much actions and both goalkeepers had to deal with so much on thier plate to put thier team into the team, despite four minutes additional time, both sides couldn’t find a winning goal as the spoils were shared.
Enyimba now have five points having played three games, won one and drawn two while Bendel Insurance are still without a win and have amassed three points in three games.
