2020 Prudent Energy Handball League: Former FCT Senator Lauds 29-26 Adorable Angels Handball Club Triumph Against Plateau Peacocks, Promises Maximum Future Supports

Former senator for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Khairat Gwadabe, has lauded the 29-26 goals win by Adorable Angels Handball club of Kwara over Plateau Peacocks, to become the winner of the just concluded 2020 Prudent Energy Handball League held in Abuja while also promising maximum support to each players thirst for a better future.

The winner of the female category took away prize money of N1.25 million naira as second and third received one million naira and N750,000 each, respectively.

She commended, “they showed a lot of discipline in the game obviously in their hard work, they were determined that they really need to win and deservedly they won the trophy on merit, am so proud of their achievement.”

Joana Kolo, Kwara Commissioner of Youths and Sports, stated that the State governor provided the team all the necessary support they needed, saying ”I appreciate his Excellency for his support for the girls, which aided their exploits.”

On account of the victory, Joana disclosed that the girls had performed creditably in the league, being their first appearance, and the outcome was an indication that are ready for the upcoming National Sports Festival in Edo set to hold at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium.
