Local Government Football Team, on Wednesday, became the first Chapel to reach the semi-final of the ongoing 2020 NUJ Inter Chapel Soccer Competition after demolishing State Information Chapel by 5 unreplied goals in their second match.
The interesting encounter held at the Osogbo Township Stadium saw the 2 sides parade 8 players each, owing to the disqualification of some players who could not properly identify themselves based on the rules laid down by the sports committee.
Meanwhile, this did not reduce the amusement and glamour expected from the match as the aging Information Chapel players, captained by misfiring Seun Fakile produced no shot on target throughout the duration of the game while the well-kitted but ruthless Local Government, buoyed by the presence of their leader, Mr. Bukola Elufadejin, capitalised on the elderly poor form
