Day three of the last group games of the ongoing 2020 Felix Anirah Football Tournament, FAFT, emerged series of a surprise results.
Group B leaders in the Warri Center, T. Akoma were knocked out with a 2-0 defeat by J Atete in a game they need just a draw which gave way to 2020 established Mickey Academy to qualify with her 3-0 thrashing of Asisa academy.
In Ughelli Center, Free Tigers were lucky to qualify after they lost 0-1 to lowly rated Mario 11 who was the hero of the day to honor their last game even though they knew they are out. While Mighty Wonders trashed Catch Fun Eagles 4:1 to qualify as a group leader.
The final group game will take place this Monday to determine the final teams to join the qualified clubs.
In the Warri City Stadium, Sporting FC and Golden Friends who are equal four points will battle for a minimum of a draw to have qualification hope, while New Vision who will be taking on zero-point J.D.M FC will need to defeat them with a minimum of 7-0 to displace either Sporting FC or Golden Friends.
NLO2 side Ayuma will need only a draw when the face qualified Excellent Academy who takes pride to defeat league side by 1pm this Monday.
Super Sheraton needs a win with a minimum of two goals to displace Ayuma fc should incase Excellent Academy win.
