Assistant Coach of the Nigeria Golden Eaglet, Nnamdi Onuigbo has expressed support for the Felix Anirah Football Tournament describing the sponsor as a man of reputable character.
Coach Onuigbo, whose club, Sporting Arrow of Benin emerged second prize winner in the 2018 edition says he is sure the 2020 edition will not be easy given the caliber of teams that have so far registered.
“A club I worked for in 2018, Sporting Arrow FC were the runners up in the 2nd edition. The sponsor kept to his words after we followed due process to get the one million naira second prize money.
“Now that the Felix Anirah Football Tournament has been upgraded and top quality clubs have registered beyond Delta and Edo State, I know it will be a very interesting tournament to scout for players”, Onuigbo said.
Meanwhile, draws for the tournament draws have been fixed for 10 am November 15 at the Sapele Athletic Club.
The Final of the tournament will take place at the Sapele Township Stadium to be followed by a gala night at the Sapele Athletic Club from 6 pm.
