A third game in the 2020/21 Eko Football League season and it’s the third game without a win for Vino Gano FC of Ikorodu which was hard to take for coach of the side, Taiwo Oloyede, who was the captain of the first Nigerian U16 side before Nduka Ugbade took over.
“That’s football and it’s sad. It’s one of those things and as it happened today, so did it in the previous games. We missed a lot of chances, our strikers wasted big chances in both halves and with the caliber of player that I am as a former striker, I need to go back and work on that on the team,” Taiwo said.
Speaking on the target of his side for the league, he said “we still have five matches to play and we’re still in the race. We have hope rising and we won’t lose hope. We will continue to play our game and we’ve seen our mistakes which we will look to correct.”
