A share of the spoils it was when New Era FC took on YG Boys FC in game 3 of the 2020/21 Eko Football League and the coach of New Era had quite a lot to say as regards the game.
Speaking to Sports247, Moshood Yakub, coach of New Era FC said “it was a very nice game. We prepared for a maximum of 3 points but due to certain challenges, we end up with a point which is still positive as we go back to prepare for the next match.”
New Era got the first goal of the game and what looked to be the winner before an equalizer came in later on in a fashion that seemed to disappoint the coach of New Era FC.
“Everyone present here saw exactly what happened here. The officiating wasn’t really favorable but we just have to leave the referees to do their job and focus on ours,” coach Moshood said.
“We prepared to get to and stay top of the league when we started but it’s still in process right now, hasn’t been bad results for us and I believe we can do better and we will because it’s our league,” the coach concluded.
