G12 FC sensation, Buchi Wihere has disclosed that he is always inspired to aim high and far in football when he watches Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbape play.
However, while also revealing that he aims to travel abroad this year and become an overseas-based professional, Wihere added that his target for now is winning 1X Bet Cup 2024 with his club.
The youngster, who emerged as man of the match in his side’s 1-1 draw with Wasola FC, went on to express appreciation for the support he usually gets from his teammates.
Buchi Wihere further declared in an interview with sports247.ng that he and his colleague have put the disappointment of their draw behind them, as they set sight on pulling through and eventually reach the final.
He said, “I thank my teammates because they are supportive.
“Although we drew this game, we know we still have an opportunity to win this cup. I am sure that, this cup, we are going to win it, by the grace of God.”
The in-form lad concluded by revealing his personal targets in football, tops of which is to get a contract abroad; which he believes he can achieve by putting in a lot of hard work.
“My aim is to play outside this country, then be like Ronaldo and Mbape. I want to be like them and play like them.
“That’s why I am working very hard; training, maintaining discipline, and always thinking positive. That’s it,” Wihere submitted.
