Chairman of the Buruj Football Academy, Salaudeen Wahab, has congratulated Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his assumption of 100 days in office and also commended him for his devotion and support for grassroots sport in Lagos.
In his response to Sport247 after his team training session at the Gbagada playing ground; chief Wahab stated that Governor Sanwo-Olu has demonstrated great support and created a conducive environment for the progress of sporting activities and programmes as seen in Lagos in the past 100 days.
“Our sports-loving Governor and his Deputy have been strong pillars of support for youth and sport development most especially at the grassroots, the Governor’s tangible support towards achieving a brilliant preparation of Team Lagos athletes for the National U-15 Youth games commencing on the 7th of September in Ilorin is an evidence of his love for sport and youth”.
