The race to gain promotion to the Premier League at the ongoing NWFL Championship play-off arrived at a frightening crescendo in Group B with a massive fight-back victory for Lakeside Queens against Sunshine Queens in a Group B game played at the Ebedei Stadium in Sagamu.

The two teams tagged the favorites in the group have not disappointed since the beginning of the championship with both sides winning their first two games before today.
The first half came as a shock to Sunshine Queens as Lakeside Queens came into the game with a deviation from their usual tactics, opting for the long balls instead of putting the balls on the ground.

Lakeside Queens are now firmly at the top of Group B with 9 maximum points.
