1.The first high point of Nigerian football in 2018 is Pinnick Amaju emerging President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) back to back.

 

In the history of football in Nigeria, no one has ever won election twice consecutively to become Nigerian Football Federation President , Pinnick Amaju broke that record to the first Nigerian to re-elected as NFF president after ending his first tenure.

He also went a step further by becoming the first Nigerian to become the first vice president of CAF in history of football.

That is the first high point as far football is concerned in the country.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria may not have been the best team at the 2018 AWCON in Ghana, but team confidence as well as a good luck saw them to victory for ninth continental crown and qualify for 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France as well.
