Falode, Aiyepeku, Tandoh Commend Sports Ministry over National Sports Industry Policy draft

Chairperson of Nigeria Women Premier League, Aisha Falode, has commended the sports ministry led by Honourable Minister, Sunday Dare and the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Gabriel Aduda on the success of the National Sports Industry Policy draft as she also saluted Nkechi Obi and her group for their tenacious efforts in the dedication for this document that will go into the history books of Nigeria.

She posited that result could be achieved quickly with a political will and an undeniable commitment and vision to the path of growth in investment that will put us in a position to be global players.

Lagos State Chairman Sports Commission, Sola Aiyepeku also marvelled at the breakthrough, he saluted, “ Groundbreaking and Pivotal move + proper foundation to finally establish Sports as the business that it is. Well done”.

Ubong Sylvester Essiet, Zonal Coordinator FMYSD South-South Zone, Benin, lauded, “A big congratulations to our dear Hon. Minister and His team, and to all of us and the sporting family in Nigeria.”

Idris Abdullahi Zonal Coordinator North-West Zone also revered, “Good and explicit explanation, My Director. A very big thanks to you and the Permanent Secretary for a job well done. The Good Lord will bless and reward you.”

Former Lagos State Chairman Sports Commission, Kweku Tandoh was not left out as he also applauded the ministry’s commitment and tenacity on the project, which has never been in doubt. Congratulations sir, he posted during the digital presentation.

The draft 2020 National Sports Industry Policy presented to the Honourable Minister for Youth and Sports Development on the 28th July 2020 has also been released to the general public for comment and feedback.

A 10 day period has been given for all review comments and feedback to be submitted through the Nigerian Economic Summit Group website (nesgroup.org)
